Load a selected section of a YouTube video directly into ComfyUI without downloading the entire video.
Choose your start/end times, adjust FPS and resolution, select frames, and output images and audio and all with a built-in video player beside the controls! Preview your clip, hear its audio, and download it as an MP4.
Quick setup for ComfyUI Windows Portable:
Extract the node folder into ComfyUI\custom_nodes.
Make sure Video Helper Suite is installed.
Close ComfyUI and run install_portable.bat from inside the node folder. This installs or updates the required Python packages.
Run activate youtube (only once).bat. This updates the YouTube downloader and checks Deno. It does not install Deno—if “not recognized” appears, install Deno and make sure it is available on PATH. FFmpeg should also be installed.
Restart ComfyUI, press Ctrl+F5, and add OmegaWPN YouTube Loader.
Paste a YouTube link, enter your start/end times, and queue the workflow. For 15 (or more) seconds at 24 FPS, set the frame limit to 360, or 0 to load all frames in that range.
You don’t need to run the BAT files every time! Run them during setup, or again when updating/troubleshooting.
The activation BAT assumes ComfyUI is installed at C:\ComfyUI_windows_portable; edit its Python path if yours is elsewhere.
