Flat ukiyo-e and Art Nouveau poster style, running on the same Qwen-Image graph as everything else on this profile. No shading, no gradients, four colors.
Flat style does not come from asking for flat colors. It comes from taking away everything the model wants to do by default: a negative prompt packed with gradient, shading and depth-of-field terms, and a CFG high enough for that negative to be read at all.
At the usual 4 steps / CFG 1.0 Lightning setup the negative prompt is ignored entirely — which is exactly why most flat-style attempts come back with soft airbrushed skin and a blurred background. This workflow runs at 8 steps / CFG 2.0 with the LoRA at 0.5.
WHAT IS INSIDE
· workflow.json — drag into the ComfyUI canvas
· style-blocks.txt — the style sentence, the four-color palette, an ornament vocabulary, and the composition rules that actually hold the frame together
· four sample outputs
The ornament set is deliberately small: seigaiha waves, gold blocks, bobbin lace cutwork, skull beads, crescent moon hairpin, fox mask, paper fan, a vermilion disc and a red seal. Pick two or three per image. The moment a fifth hue appears the print look collapses.
Description
Nothing is trained. A workflow plus the prompt blocks that make a flat print stay flat.
Drag workflow.json into ComfyUI; models and settings are in README.md inside the archive.
