AniShift 20 applies the lightest touch of anime styling (alpha = 0.20) on a semi-real base: semi-real structure with just a hint of anime linework and eye styling.
[Recipe] Add-difference merge on UNet only: PerfectDeliberate v10 + 0.20 x (Nova Anime XL v19 - Nova Reality XL v9.0). VAE and text encoders are inherited from PerfectDeliberate. Illustrious-family checkpoint, fp16 safetensors, no baked LoRA.
[Why this direction] PerfectDeliberate gives calm semi-real structure. Subtracting Nova Reality from Nova Anime yields an anime delta (linework, larger eyes, cel-like shading) that can be dialled in without destroying the base's stable composition. This is the reverse direction of the AniReal series (anime base toward realism): here we start semi-real and move toward anime.
[Series] AniShift IL: 20 / 40 / 60 on the same semi-real base, one direction only - toward anime. Alpha above 0.60 is unstable on this delta and is intentionally not released.
[Recommended settings] Euler a, 24-28 steps, CFG 5.0-5.5, 832x1216. Hires fix above 1.25x helps linework.
[Known limitations] This is an anime-leaning delta, so alpha above 0.60 collapses into noise - do not push it. Hands still need the usual care; two-person prompts often collapse to one subject. Illustrious-family only.
