Has anyone else run into the issue where after generating the perfect picture, toward the last steps is fades everything a dull grey and adds white spots like lens flares, really unfortunate. Only for the illustrious.I've deleted and reinstalled but just me?
Sounds like a VAE issue
@svooooosh thanks for the reply. i messed with vae settings, (none, automatic, manual vaes, etc) no luck, any other ideas? this model is great would love to use it.
@markharper80266 I am using the "official" vae: https://huggingface.co/stabilityai/sdxl-vae/blob/main/sdxl_vae.safetensors and the SD WebUI (aka A1111). Maybe it's a sampler issue? Try with Euler A Simple.

I trained a lora based on this model and i get the smae thign with a white dots all over and greyed out. I guess it wil lbe okay once I download and try it against a sdxl vae once iIget a chacne however all the images generated by the online Civita Ai trained come out like this . Was it generated from the training with the wrong vae? Can we specify a vae in the training to use ?
Came here to check and see if anyone else was experiencing this. Use the official SDXL vae and it works fine, no idea what is up with that, changing sampler didn't seem to fix it.
@rogersx @rogersx for sure a vae issue I see it all the time when I test multiple models and forget to turn on vae. use the sdxl fixed vae.
Please bake vae with illustrious+pony
