Best upscaler i ever used: 4x_NMKD-Siax_200k. it is much more better than 4x-ultrasharp
With CFG 7 results in weird neon pictures with DPM++ 3M SDE Exponential and DPM++ 2M SDE Karras and some other 2M/3M samplers. Choosing another sampler (f.e. DPM++ SDE) or setting CFG 5 fixes the problem (CFG 3 for animals).
For LMS sampler should set 120+ steps.
Acc. to my own test - the best and the most precise results shows DPM++ SDE.
To avoid weird faces - don't use 512x768, use 768x1024.

@rakkausburzum191 Settings can take some working out. As a start I recommend half cosine up for both settings, 1.5 for the two min values, MEAN/AD, and top percentile 100 or just below (doesn't make much difference in general). The phi setting can keep as 1 and it doesn't do much with this combination. You can then usually push CFG as high as you want.
