The reason I say individually trained and tagged is because they have been trained independently of the character so they can be applied easily elsewhere, they can also have colours used in front to adjust them, this way you can use the outfits, or even just parts (jacket, or hair flower for example) on different characters. I have attached 2 examples, you may need to put animal ears and/or tail in the negative, but aside from that it should work a treat.
