Authors, if ComfyUI are using external models, for example, from A1111, your Manager doesn't see them at all.((
Yeah... That is current limitation.
@DrLtData I hope for new release with no limitation).
Please, do "Reload ComfyUI" button in new release of Manager.
Hello, it's not working for me. I followed the Github guide, but for whatever reason "Manager" is not showing up on my ComfyUI interface.
I'm using ComfyUI 3.0 from RunPod.io: https://hub.docker.com/r/runpod/stable-diffusion
Issue was that the Runpod image didn't have Torchvision installed
Just a note when installing on an existing ComfyUI installation:
Method 2 (general):
goto ComfyUI/custom_nodes in cmd
git clone https://github.com/ltdrdata/ComfyUI-Manager
Restart ComfyUI.....
When installing some or lots of Custom Nodes in the Manager menu and are asked to reload ComfyUI, the next to you launch your bat file for WEBUI in order to launch ComfyUI, the terminal will start downloading and installing all the stuff you have set in the manager. This will seem to look like you're installing a gigabyte of stuff, downloading things, updating pytorth or stuff like that. I suppose this is normal because after 5 minutes ComfyUI loads without all those red error messages and starts to work fine.
after two days hassle, this saved me, thanks a lot
You are the best, I couldn't find what nodes I need, and found in your node that I can install the missing ones. <3
When I really want to fuck up comfyui, like, when it's already not flaming dumpster-fire inexplicably nonfunctional enough, I'll doiwnload comfyui manager to spare myself the horrible horrible task of a two second copy and paste into a terminal so I can see random nodes breaking at random. Just like, really fuck it completely sideways, you know?
Does somebody know how to recycle seed when batch generate images in comfyUI, I found that the images batch generated all use one seed, can't find out specific seed for each image
hello, is there a way this manager can see the installed models when using STABILITY MATRIX? if not, i think it should be not too complicated to offer an option to point it to the shared folders where the models are stored.
After installing git using admin rights to c:/git, triple checking (and rebooting) windows system variables and path, I still get the error below related to git, and therefore no comfyUI:
The git executable must be specified in one of the following ways:
- be included in your $PATH
- be set via $GIT_PYTHON_GIT_EXECUTABLE
- explicitly set via git.refresh(<full-path-to-git-executable>)
I even used git clone to grab comfy manager and it worked, straight comfui/custom_nodes, so the path is definitely set!
I've tried using the Git/cmd or the Git/bin path (both have the git.exe in there). Is this a git thing? is this a windows thing?
I read many threads about this and couldnt pinpoint what THE solution is. Could somebody let me know what I'm doing wrong so I can fix it?
Have you installed the latest version of git as described here?

@DrLtData Before all that I had previously updated using both update batch scripts.
I re-executed the whole procedure after uninstalling git, deleting manager files in custom_nodes to start from scratch.
Then I dled the standalone version, installed to C:/Git (not using the "run as administrator"), when prompted by the setup I select "Git from the command line and also from 3rd party software", and then "Use Windows default console window" when asked about "configuring the terminal emulator to use with Git Bash". All other options are defaulted.
I then executed the bat installer script successfully (there is now a ComfyUI-Manager folder with files in custom_nodes).
I then started ComfyUI (run_nvidia.bat IIRC, again as my regular user) and that's when I get errors.
Edit: After doing all the above and failing, I noticed I had not rebooted yet, so I did. And it works. Therefore it is certain I didn't follow the procedure, and take the appropriate steps before. PEOPLE: follow the instructions very closely, don't be like me.
hello i have no idea where "ComfyUI_windows_portable" folder is located please help
You probably downloaded the .exe version and not the portable version. I did that just recently and replaced it with the portable version. Both of them work, but they're constructed differently and most use the portable version (I think) when you look at tutorials and stuff, it'll get confusing. I don't have a lot of advice apart from that, I'm sorry.
It's great when it works. Usually after installing, comfy begins degrading to the point where nothing runs.
Further, when it whines that you need to update your comfyui instance an insists that you can even though comfy is outdated, but then it refuses to update comfy, WTF does one do to correct this heaping pile of crap without doing a full re-installation of every-damned-thing?
this shit heap (comfy, et al.) needs some real fucking project management.
