I know this model is more niche, and doesn't get the same use as my other models... but... I will continue to update it. It serves a solid need for me and a few other creators.

Blackwing 602 XL - is a full SDXL model trained to create penicl sketches in black&white and color. It's inspired by the pencil of the same name which was beloved by creative giants like John Steinbeck and Chuck Jones. The Blackwing 602 has achieved iconic status for its smooth, expressive line quality and timeless elegance. "Blackwing 602 XL" works to capture this spirit, bringing the tactile experience of pencil sketches in a more complete way than a LoRA can deliver. This is a v1, so there will be some growing pains, but my hope is that this model becomes a perfect place to go for sketches that inspire bigger work including storyboarding scenes, or envisioning product personas with an authentic, handcrafted feel.

Some notes about version 1.2:

• Every once in a while, it'll stretch a face if the height/width proportions are weird. I'm working on that.

• It definitely prefers Black & White, but it also does a great job with color when you get the prompt just right.
