< See example images >
• Euler or Euler a or HeunPP2 or Restart sampler, 3 or ~3-6 cfg, ~28 steps
Some versions may also work well with:
• Euler a CFG++ sampler, SGM Uniform scheduler, ~2 cfg, ~28 steps
You can find additional sampler and schedulers via the ForgeUI/a1111 extension here.
---
Euler, 3 cfg, 28 steps is a good starting point for most versions
Hires fix - This is optional of course, and I recommend adjusting any use to your context and application. The example images utilize this both on and off.

Wow, I been using this model for a couple days now and currently its my favorite checkpoint for creating photos of Ariel! ❤️
Nice Illustrious Model. I am happy with this.
Absolutely amazing. As a user, can I do anything to make the model available for onsite generation?
Civitai might have the feature disabled for Illustrious based models (or in general), I'm not sure. You'd have to ask them. Everything is the same as other models that utilized the feature in the past within the model's settings.

神中神!
Great model. Works great with all kinds of LORA's. Definitely will stick with it for a while!
The Oat Milk version of this model has been the absolute best Illustrious model (out of the 36 Illustrious checkpoints I've tried so far) that does the best job of following LoRA instructions without adding too much of its own style to it.
The Flax Milk version adds a bit too much of its own style like the others, but Oat Milk is almost perfect.
Props, and yes that is intended. Some versions on this page may be more lora-heavy in comparison to others. Different styles and case uses.
@Ocean3 awesome. i sorta like the Flax style when i'm not trying to use a LoRA, but i use LoRAs for characters i make all the time (maybe a bit too much). Flax still has a place on my hard drive :) can't wait to see what you cook up next!
This model is really underrated. It has great versatility and flexibility with various styles.
Thanks for sharing this gem with the community 😊
quick review for anyone interested in this model. Both versions are really good in different ways. I would recommend using minimal lora for flex as it has a (imo) more stylized 2.5d feel to it almost that can create some really great stuff, while oat feels like a less stylized version of NTRMIX which I am a huge fan of. Overall it's one of the least fickle and best sdxl models I've used
Been using Oat for a while now, it's a very good model.
This is a really good underrated model. It just needs some improvements with hands.
