CyberRealistic XL Catalyst V2.0 (DMD2)
This is a special DMD2 edition of CyberRealistic XL Catalyst, rebuilt from the ground up and designed for faster, ultra-realistic results using fewer steps.
It’s a direct evolution of CyberRealistic V7.0, delivering next-level quality for both SFW and NSFW creations.
Recommended Settings:
Sampler: LCM
Schedule Type: Exponential
Sampling steps: 8 (or 12 for extra detail)
CFG: 1.5
⚡ These settings are not the same as my regular SDXL workflow — be sure to adjust your pipeline!
Hires.fix Settings:
ou can try using fewer Hires steps than your main Sampling steps.
Denoising Strength: Recommended range is 0.2 – 0.5.
Hires CFG Scale: You can keep it the same as your main CFG scale, or set it to 1.

CyberRealistic XL Catalyst is where SDXL gets weird in the best possible way. This isn’t some spotless showroom model. Think of it more like a wild test garage. Sparks fly, bolts get overtightened, and suddenly something totally unexpected comes roaring to life. It’s built on the same bones as CyberRealistic XL, but this version is packed with experimental tweaks. Catalyst is for anyone who actually likes a little chaos mixed in with their clarity.
Here, realism crashes right into raw unpredictability. Sometimes it’s brilliant, sometimes it’s just plain bizarre, and every now and then, it’s so off it actually loops back around to being awesome. Welcome to the lab.
🧪 What’s New in Catalyst?
Realism is tuned in weird ways (it’s a bit less censored, and sometimes you’ll wonder what just happened)
Always changing, always mutating (no changelog, just new vibes and glitches every update)
Output can get wild, but when it nails it, it really nails it

Description
This is a release candidate for CyberRealistic XL v6.0, focusing on realism, especially in skin tones. Version 1.2 brings noticeably improved skin rendering with more natural undertones and less of the waxy, over-processed look some users noticed in earlier versions.
If you're after lifelike textures, true-to-life skin tones, and a strong foundation for both photographic and stylized prompting—this update is worth testing.

V.1.2 is a very slight improvement over 1.1.
Oh, i'm sorry to say that... Color temp is still wrong if you're aiming for neutral colors. There's still the blue predominant color. You can see it very clearly from the samples, but in any case I've posted a comparison with different color temps, and you'll see it more clearly. In my comparatives, notice that the skin tone, details, depth and volume is much better in a very conservative value of -0.2 (it's not oversaturated, it just gets rid of the blue overcast which means lack of brightness). It's a very rough and sloppy estimate (you have to work a lot more the parameters like saturation, brightness... after), but it's a good starting point. Like a solid base to work your color palette up from there. Color correction takes a lot of time, but it's totally worth it. In any case, If you're aiming for colder palette ignore this comment, please.
For people who want to change the color temp, and can't wait until the fix comes, use this. https://civitai.com/models/1363766/sdxl-color-tweaker-slider-color-temperature-saturation-brightness-contrast-or-sdxl
Magnificient checkpoint again. But colors could be a lot better. This checkpoint really shines with the proper palette which means more neutral colors without color biases (yellow or blue).
Just my two cents. Good job and keep cooking!
For some reason 1.2 (RC) is giving me all black generations when using clip skip 1 in ComfyUI. Clip skip 2 works fine though, but the other Catalyst versions work with clip skip 1 and 2.
Same issue in Fooocus
Much better, if you dont use loras for the main parameters(color temp, saturation, contrast, brigtness).
If you want hardcoded changes, use Vectorscope or similar extensions

Anyway, with every pic viewer, you can change these settings.
I'm really doubting which route to take. Perfect colors, but with a lot of pros and cons — or slightly less perfect, so more yellowish tones — which I actually kind of like too.
@Cyberdelia What did you change? Just Vae or something else too.
@darvinhimmat something else. My custom base + training
Other thing!
When i dropped a pic from previous versions to a pic editor, it detected tint and, when i removed, it looked like the blue edition. So technically this version has correct colors, but our taste fight with that.
True.
Great Model, i get really good results, i agree color temp could be better, but overall its good!
Great model! the quality is excellent. I especially like the results after inpainting. Thank you so much for the model <3
