Then install the browser extension, it will show up automatically on upload page, all you need is drop the video (with metadata) and it will fill the forms for you:

More importantly, there is already a PR to add native MP4 and WebM metadata detection directly to Civitai:

If you want proper video metadata support on Civitai, consider leaving a reaction or constructive comment on that PR. A little polite pressure might help show that people are waiting for it.
Hopefully they merge it and this extension eventually becomes unnecessary.

Improved resource automation reliability across Civitai page rerenders and prevented one video’s resource process from interfering with the next.
Fixed positive prompts losing their first four characters when extracted from FFmpeg-generated MP4 metadata.
