May I ask why the pictures generated by the 7.0 model are pure black？
What system did you use?
The problem is either the system is not supported to sdxl models, nsfw filter is still on, the model is installed unsuccessfully or used all of VRAM
I am getting a feeling V7 faces are the dreaded V4 faces I dislike, although my initial trying it out, it's not that bad
I do notice Illust v2 going strong, and there's definitely a bit of an increase in quality but nothing much
I'll probably try it out a bit more, for now though, if you like V4 faces, you'll like this (if my speculation is correct)
img2img inpaint is broken in V7; V6 is fine.
What's the main difference between Nova Anime & Nova Cross ? I mean for the image results, like different style or color palette ?
Nova Anime is the anime branch that focuses on more 2d style
Nova Cross is more like experiment models
Comparing IL v7.0 and IL B, notable differences are face and pose structure

Anyone getting NaNs VAE errors while using v7?
I tried generating the same image on v5b and v7 and got this error.
The vae is already baked so not using alternate vae would do the job
@Crody Yeah, I'm using either None or Automatic in the VAE section, but still getting these errors.
Again, using v5b forever now, and never had this issue.
I'll try to redownload and see if it resolves the issue.

OK so this only happens with Hires.fix using 4x_NMKD-Siax_200k.

Another update:
I originally had this issue when using stable-diffusion-webui-amdgpu version.
Recently I moved to the Forge version: stable-diffusion-webui-amdgpu-forge and it resolves every issue I had.
I'm using v7 and it's magnificent!
After finally getting some gpu and having to change a lot of my prompts again, it's pretty good
the new Illust v2 has some good hands? still not consistent enough but it is good
do like the details are kinda getting better and the fact that it supports more resolution (not really stable but worth a try)
the paper for illust v2 is impressive but gonna be skeptical about it
is 7.0 noobai version ? or just illustorious

Getting "A tensor with all NaNs was produced in VAE" during tiled upscaling on v7. Switched back to v6 and the issue went away.
it's now showing "Nova Anime XL - IL v7.0 is not enabled for generation. Please contact [email protected] if you believe this to be an error." :(
Using the pony v7 version, I get extremely saturated colors (like filling flat shapes with a bucket tool) which eat all detail completely. I'm using DPM++ 2M, CFG 6 and have tried both the pony VAE as well as baked-in. The same settings work perfectly on v6.
When v6 released, ppl said old versions are doing better. After users get used to the v6, then v7 comes up and there's something wrong compared to v6... is it possible for us to extend the upgrade period or just to keep more versions in the future... :( ?

Got it. I'm guessing same principle applies to your other models.
According to the actual license (FAIPL-1.0-SD), the authors explicitly state they claim no rights over the output, so you’re free to use it commercially without mandatory editing. Any extra “rules” in the description or comments have no legal force and contradict the license itself. Always follow what’s written in the License section, not personal preferences.
