Yeah SDXL is almost gone and the Flux Hype is real. The Tech is moving fast and soon there will be no need for finetunes anymore, here is the lates finetune i got for now and probably forever 😂

I'm still getting gens with better detail and contrast from v7, and that's a bummer. I've seen this happen with other checkpoints, where I think they get overcooked with ever version. Or I'm doing something wrong...
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making this model. I love so much how my work come out with it. I like it even better than Flux and it brought me back to SDXL! Thank you!!
I don't understand why you say "there will be no need for finetunes anymore"? Don't Flux loras require tuning as well? (or what do you mean by fine tune?) Thanks
it would be great to put pros and cons of each model in the description, I have to look in comments for hours for clues.

@epinikion Hold on, I'm creating on the new version and I'm stunned! this version is much better, I believe the correct prompt would enhance the results; I'm getting amazing outcomes from this version, though! :)
The last version is so underwhelming, you should just drop SDXL, and go to Pony. Your only one Pony checkpoint is much better, and way more interesting, than anything related to SDXL.
It's the most flexible one but yeah im not sure if KiSS isn't the best. Can you prove your argumentation on Pny vs the SDXL models?
@epinikion Pony has everything out of box, what SDXL cant do: hardcore(of course), way better anatomy, poses, flexibility, emotions, expressions, etc. SDXL is so puny and emotionless, as your main sample pics. Users cant even make a Lora, which is not shit, or looks like a depressive woman.
If you make a new Pony, you will top it again. Your only job is add realism.
I know its not easy, because more realism, less flexibility, you need to find good balance. But your first try was at least as good, as most newish checkpoint(you purged the hardcore out a bit).

@sowuxy626 I know what you mention here but since u have not a single image posted there is no prove of your arguments. On my test the epic SDXL models are more flexible than the pony ones

Glad you like it, tommorow there will be a KiSS2 version and i will try to make it available for the generator as soon as possible. For that I need to have the epicRealism SD1.5 version removed from the generator, but this way you can experiment more on both if you want :D

Hey guys! Since i'm testing so much between my versions and i'm biased towards my new models, what do you think is the best version and should be in the generator?
V7,V8,V9,V10 - the bold ones are in the Gen.
I love V8 and also V7 was great, should we go back?

Im really wish epicphotogasm in XL Lighting, Turbo or Hyper version. It's really the best model for photography, but it's still a bit lacking.
I've only used v8 and v9. v8 was the bee's knees, but v9 has allowed me greater control and yields consistently better images IMO.
V10 kind of seems worse than V8 and V9 overall; higher noise, lower contrast, somewhat inconsistent detail... reminds me of early XL finetunes
I got rid of V10, opened a ticket for V8 back to the gen. And I’m done for a couple of days or weeks I guess 😅
@epinikion What did you find? Did v8 outperform v9 and v10, and will you still be releasing a new model? Ty!
@isr431 in overall it performs better, also based on other responses from the community. I don`t think i will work on SDXL 1.0 anymore
Since the community seems only interested in Flux cuz of extremely easy Lora making, and also on Pony.
Any chance we can see real Fine Tuning of SD 3.5 by Epicrealism?
Don’t think so, since this all moves so fast and I’m out of time and a bit overdone with all that finetunes 😅
@epinikion OK, well I am kind of sad that SD 3.5 is being ignored and might soon be abandoned by the community, who are all into either Flux or Pony. I hope atleast one of the big creators, try to fine tune it.

@rob52840 Yes, I don't know what went wrong, cuz I really liked the artwork and skin texture of SD 3.5. But I guess it's hard to train and no demand, the model might go away.

@P_Universe I don't have enough time available now to play much with Flux and SD3.5 models and I am waiting for the "big" fine tunes to come to see what can reasonably be expected with those models.
@aramintastudio oh I see , got it, do you there's going to be new ones?, does not seem that people here have plans for it because it's been a while now, but you could take a look at the one of stoiq if you are interested
@aramintastudio good news, seems like a wise decision - in the meantime, after a while with Flux, I'm quite frankly disappointed with it, and am back to generating with XL - for example epinikion and your checkpoints. (and enjoying it)

Flux/SD35 are still better for prompt adherence and other things but for images including people or even styling (for Flux), SDXL fine tunes with ControlNets are still far better indeed.
