April 28, 2024: added V2 Rebirth pruned
v2:REBIRTH
Thanks to S6yx for the creation of this beautiful model. Enjoyed by millions. With their permission, I, Zovya, will be maintaining it moving forward.
April 4, 2024: fp16 and +VAE added
April 2, 2024: Rebirth
Update 3: Disclaimer/Permissions updated
Update 2: I am no longer maintaining/updating this model
Update 1: I've been a bit burnt out on SD model development (SD in general tbh) and that is the reason there have not been an update. Looking to come back around and develop again by next month or so.Thank you everyone who sends reviews and enjoy my model
Pay attention to the About this version section of model page for specific version information. ➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️
Model Overview:
rev or revision: The concept of how the model generates images is likely to change as I see fit.
Animated: The model has the ability to create 2.5D like image generations. This model is a checkpoint merge, meaning it is a product of other models to create a product that derives from the originals.
Kind of generations:
Fantasy
Anime
semi-realistic
decent Landscape
LoRA friendly
It works best on these resolution dimensions:
512x512
512x768
768x512
VAE:
Prompting:
Order matters - words near the front of your prompt are weighted more heavily than the things in the back of your prompt.
Prompt order - content type > description > style > composition
This model likes: ((best quality)), ((masterpiece)), (detailed) in beginning of prompt if you want anime-2.5D type
This model does great on PORTRAITS
Negative Prompt Embeddings:
Make use of weights in negative prompts (i.e (worst quality, low quality:1.4))

This is the best model i ever tried, thank you very much for your work, looking forward to test this new version!!!
To be honest, I've tried many models and tried to compare them with Rev but always my choice would be this unique model, keep up the great work
what prompt to differentiate output with photorealistic and cartoon/anime?
any good negative prompts I should use?
Whats the difference between 1.2.1 and 1.2? Because I've just downloaded 1.2. Do I need change it?
1.2 was incorrect upload. 1.2.1 is the correct one. delete 1.2
@s6yx thanks
The model is a shocking leap in generation quality when you go over to it. It is delightful!!! Many thanks to the author for sharing this (masterpiece:2.1) with us. I would like to support the author but due to sanctions bank transfers from my country are blocked(
This model is the best! I would like to train it with my own images, but the 'model_index.json' is missing in hugging face. Is there any chance to add it?
Why the latest model is noticeably smaller? Is it because of new merging algorithm you've used?
yes, bayesian merging technique only merges UNET values. That removes a lot of the unneeded weights
I hope this isnt a repeated question for you.
Does the new 1.2.1 model completely replace the 1.1 version? OR do we want to keep the 1.1 as well?
up to you. 1.2.1 is an improvement of 1.1
@s6yx Thank you, Well if its an improvement and smaller ill replace it then! :) Great work on this one!
I'm unable to load this in InvokeAI
give me a few and i can make a version for invokeai and put it on huggingface
@s6yx Thank you, I use this model in one of my mix's and was trying to update the Model =)
You do great work
@s6yx Generally there shouldn't need to be a different version for Invoke. Any idea what is going on here?
@void2258 I was wondering that myself, as I also use InvokeAI and could not for the life of me get the RPG model to work.
@s6yx Thanks for posting the InvokeAI version! Going to download it and try it now !
@earlyapriladam i would hold off on that. working on 1.2.2 release to fix somethings
@s6yx 1.2.2 working nicely for me in InvokeAI, thanks for the update 🙏
@lenymo no problem
Love 1.1 model! But 1.2.1 generating black images in the end. While generating I see process and goes right. Some thoughts?
Ok. I've redownload model and it works again)
Fantastic model, have you been able to train Lora's on this model? Kohya's script seems to error on this model. Is there a configuration file required? yaml?
I've trained now around 8 on V1.1 and i don't think that i set something special in kohya.
1.2.1 does not work at all in Invoke AI, and on A1111 gives nightmare fuel images where 1.1 was giving good results.
many people would say otherwise. redownload the file and restart auto1111
Breaks in Comfy UI as well without a special workaround.
@void2258 i dont use anything else besides a1111 so again. I would not know
@s6yx Spoke to people at Invoke and Comfy. Missing CLIP weights, and without them it won't work in Invoke at all. It can be forced to work in Comfy with a performance hit (though no guarantee 'work correctly', just won't immediately fail). Also apparently doesn't work in all forks of A1111, because it's counting on something the main A1111 is actually doing wrong to function.
@void2258 message me on discord: S6yx#3618
@s6yx What discord server? Also, I am just relaying what people told me, so if you want technical details, probably need to go the invoke or comfy discords.
A bunch of people are saying lora training won't work. This is probably related to the same problem, since lora plays with the information that's missing.
@void2258 working on 1.2.2, with a different merge method. Seems the bayesian merger technique just keeps UNET Model component, hence why smaller model size
An excellent model! An inpainting version would elevate this so much! Speaking as someone who has no idea how those are made, any chance of that happening?
uploaded
Do you guys know if I can use the inpainting version for general use? My reasoning is that it may have more precision or be less pruned...
You guys are awesome! Thanks!
