Description
CyberRealistic Pony V10 is the next evolution. After extensive testing through the Catalyst beta branch, V10 brings lot of refinements, skin textures, better lighting behavior and more stable facial structure consistency. It’s more versatile, cleaner and retains the distinctive soft realism that defines the CyberRealistic Pony series.
As always, it remains free of charge, with no early access requirements or hidden conditions.

It's really hard to make the character look anywhere other than the camera, are there any tricks to fix this?
Using "imminent kiss" sometimes helps if there is more than one character. Prevents weird tongue issue too.
try ' looking at viewer ' (without the quotes) in your negative prompt, been working for me with only occasional looks at viewer.
To all my 8.5 friends, its safe to upgrade now!

@Cyberdelia Great job as always! I'm really enjoying this one. By the way, have you ever considered creating a Flux version? I tried it just a few days ago, and it's on a completely different level compared to anything I've seen before (SDXL, Pony, Illustrious), especially when it comes to LoRAs.
Yes, I did try to create a proper Flux version, but my computers just aren't powerful enough to work with it (I use multiple systems). Of course, I could mix in some Flux checkpoints and release that, but that’s not what I want to do. I’m about to upgrade though – so who knows.
... and if I look at the past and how long I tend to stick with older versions (I still use SD1.5 quite a bit), you can probably expect a Flux version in about two years ;)
@Cyberdelia Flux isn the future, first flux based uncensored model is still beta, and ultraslow(way more, than base flux).
Fire up an 5090 for Pony7:)
@Cyberdelia Yeah, totally. Flux chews through GPU like crazy. I'm on a 3080 Ti and even FP8 generation is pushing it. Thinking about upgrading to a 5080 or 5090, but man, prices are ridiculous right now
Looks nice
Huge step back from 8.0, IMO. Human characters overwhelmingly look more cartoonish, plastic, exaggerated. Compare the Most Collected lists between 10 and 8, it's night and day.
so is v88 better than later versions in your opinion ?
Really? I fear when they are supposedly worse than others. I usually just keep the new one. These damn checkpoints are too damn big and take too damn long to load up. So keep and testing them all is unfeasible.
Why didn't I get an alert/notification about v10?
Did I not send you a personal notification? Shame on me!! ;)
@Cyberdelia How dare you! Nah, it's just weird that I get notifications for everything else of yours, but didn't for v10. I'm thinking maybe it's cause I left a single unread notification for v9 (to remind me to try out the other Alt version of v9). I'll give you my home address and I expect a nice postcard next time!
for me version 8.5 is still the best. V 10 is better than 9 though imo.
Version 10 has the same file name as version 1.0
v10 It makes very natural lighting, especially sunny
Too anime look, circa pre v6.5. Pose better, than 8.5(no fails), v9 was good too. Cuter faces, than v9, but thats not enough for a realistic model.
v10 isn't too bad, but seems to have worse adherence, worse realism and worse image quality imo. It does work pretty good with some LoRA that used to give bad results, and not as well with others. So far, my favorites are still v7.0A, v9.0 Alt-1 and some of the v6.x stuff.
When you've just spent two hours looking at the non-existent arses of girls that don't exist generated by machines that haven't a clue what a girl nor an arse truly are, you know you have reached peak human-technological-attainment and it's downhill all the way from here... and it's great.
Thank You... I think.
In full-size images, there are facial distortions, eyes, teeth, lips and nose.
version 10 has better poses, light and female body than previous versions but I still prefer 6.5 for faces, especially the eyes which are perfect in version 6.5
Eyes are very easy to fix with loras or adetailer.
A great model. Thank you for tuning such a great model. As a heavy user of your model (20-30 loras already), I would like to say a great Thanks to you.
V9 would be best, but it seems, not just i have promblem with long torsos. In the gallery i see lot of bad torso pics.
the model looks very beautiful
10, already!? Is 11 coming out next week?
All joking aside, 10 seems to be a noticeable improvement for backgrounds, and lighting, less extra limbs, with prompt adherence maybe a bit better, or around the same as 9, but not as rigid regarding what you could call things as 9 was. Although with 10 I've found if I produced say five images of the same prompt, four would look fine, while one may come out looking cartoony. I guess rather than an extra arm, 10 does stuff like that
Honestly, with 10, 9 has no value at all. I already couldn't find too many cases where I wanted to use 9, over 8.5, as some sort of characters just didn't want to come out as well in 9, as they did in 8.5. Although 10 seems to have characters about the level of 8.5, with various improvements. Still haven't used it too much yet, but 10 looks quite good.
Just to add, after using it more. 10 has a tenancy to at least at times seem to be less sharp than 8.5, this seems to be what makes images look kinda cartoony at times. Colours can blend into each other more, skin can be less detailed, and for instance if I noted a woman should have eye makeup, sometimes it looks like it was applied using a brush meant to paint walls, rather than apply makeup.
Hopefully 10.1 will increase the likelihood of images appearing sharper. For now, if using version 10, it feels like using a detail tweeker, and/or increasing the weight of prompts like "photo realistic:, detailed face, detailed body, detailed skin," will need to be done to improve image results.
To users, be aware that you may need to try describing things differently than you have been in 8.5, to get the same results.
V9 is way more realistic. For semireal there are ton better models. V10 is pure semireal.
Catalyst V2 is released which is more realistic then the previous versions
@jasongriffis394
I would not call this a semi-realistic model. I'm not sure why, but when rendering images on Civitai, they do tend to come out more blurry, or cartoony, more often, but when I render them on my own computer, they tend to maintain a more realistic look.
As I noted in a post above, you can push it to maintain a more realistic result, using that I tend to maintain results that appear as sharp as prior versions when using it on Civitai. Then I also found, especially when rendering on Civitai, the results of 10 can be more influenced by the LORA you use with it, than prior versions were. Meaning if you used LORA trained with anime style images, you can more likely end up with more cartoony results than you used to, so would need to compensate by adjusting the weight of the LORA, and strengthening the weight of the fore mentioned prompts.
Aside from that, one needs to keep in mind that this is based on a model that is over time, with all the new models come out, getting to be viewed as archaic. If you want hyper real results, you'd likely want to use one of the newer, and more demanding models out there.
@Cyberdelia
Meaning my joke about 11 coming out next week wasn't actually that far off.
@AImodels4me2use :)
Good model
is it possible to train realistic lora with pony ? i feel like flux demand too much power and the results are not in my tast, also i wonder how to train realistic models but i don't want to jump back to 1.5 :p
The realistic characters/people LoRAs I train on Pony V6 XL work fine with realism checkpoints like CyberRealistic.
@SuperKinos would u mind sharing how to proceed ? :) I never trained real people and the shots i did earlier didnt came out really good
Unfortunetely V10 doesn't look real anymore. It has a very 3D look to it. I see why. It tries to fix the poses and eyes problems, but it is not worth it for a less realistic look. Luckily there are still other models available!
I have just released Catalyst V2.0 which is more realistic then previous versions.
@Cyberdelia Thanks , I will give it a shot!
Yeah it peaked at v6.6ish I think and was downhill from there in terms of both realism and prompt adherence.
I’m using Catalyst 1.1 and CR v10 with the same prompts and is amazing how good, but still how different the outcomes are.
I can’t decide which one to keep and which to drop
V10 and Catalyst are quickly becomming my most reliable checkpoints. Both deliver great results and both give strong ( but different) results when inpainting.
Just released Catalyst V2 :) Hopefully you will like that even more
Comparing v10 with 9alt1, everything seems a bit more "exaggerated" though usually in a good way. However, with the new model I get deformed fingers, eyes and lips quite more often.
what models of this series did you test, and which 2 would you suggest as your favorites?
@pink0909 Try Catalyst (other model). New model will be released today/tomorrow based on that version.
@pink0909 only the 2 I mentioned from this series. I liked 9alt1 a lot when only that one had been released. When I tried v10 it felt like it followed the prompt more. I was experimenting a lot with realistic looking fantasy creatures, and if I try to describe the results I guess one could say that a v9 character kind of looks like if you blended the same character generated by v10 with a generic human model. Going to try v11 now.
cool
A great model. Thank you for tuning such a great model.
primera que use, es muy buena y da resultados increibles
Gracias por el cumplido y que te diviertas generando imágenes.
cute stuff
A small suggestion: Add annotations to each version: What improvements and optimizations are there compared to the previous version, and which aspects are more focused on, such as optimizing the face model, authenticity, color, movement, etc
Thank you for this one
